A tour guide conducts tours to or in historical sites, museums and other locations tourists frequent. They seek to educate and entertain individuals or groups while providing in-depth or unusual information about a site, city or state. Tours may be on foot, by a private bus or by some other mode of transportation such as bicycle, Segway or boat. Important skills include communication, improvisation and charisma.
